The Easy Set Thermostat Will Control Gas Fired
or Electric Heating Equipment

Turn on the lights and the Easy Set will turn up the heat to the preset temperature. Turn off the lights and the Easy Set will automatically set the temperature to the preset lower temperature. The Easy Set will monitor the ambient temperature to a 1 degree differential. The Easy Set does not require resetting after a power failure. Its memory is secure. The Easy Set has been designed to control all types of heating equipment - Radiant/Convection/Induction. The Easy Set mounts on a standard switch box. The Easy Set will reduce energy usage when in the set back stage.
The Easy Set will operate in Fahrenheit or Celcius settings with a variable adjustable set back setting from 90 to 40 degrees F, 32 to 4 degrees C. A temperature setting will show in the display. The Easy Set can be set for the ambient light for the set back from the normal run mode at the press of the mode button. The Easy Radiant Works Easy Set will operate any one 24 volt unit, or multiple units when connected to a 24 volt controlled relay.

Installation Instructions

Select Thermostat Location.

Proper location insures that the thermostat will provide a comfortable
temperature. Observe the following general rules when selecting a
location.
Install thermostat on an inner wall, or install thermostat on a insulator
when mounting on an outside wall. Locate thermostat about 5ft. above the floor.
Avoid location near windows, doors to outside, or drafty locations.
Never expose thermostat to sun, or radiant heater rays.

Install Easy Set mounting bracket in chosen location with screws
provided. Easy Set may also be installed on a standard electrical
switch or receptacle box. Do not install in direct infrared rays.

The Easy Set will control any single unit 5 amp load or less.
When controlling 2 or more units a 24 volt relay must be used.


 

Temperature Set Up Instructions

Display: The display will show the current temperature unless you are in the "Temp Set" mode. Then it will display the "Set Point" or the "Set Back" depending on which one is being programmed.

To Switch Between C or F: Press the "UP" and "Down" buttons simultaneously to change to Fahrenheit or Celsius.

Set Mode: Press the "Mode" button for about 1 second and release - switches LED mode from "OFF" to "ON" Green to "Auto".RED

Off - Thermostat set points are ignored and no heat will be turned on. (LED - OFF)

On - LED - Green Allows Thermostat to turn on and off to the set point. Setback and light level will be ignored. (LED - GREEN)

Auto - LED-RED If ambient light level is higher than the light setting, the temp will be controlled to the set point. If ambient light level is lower than the light set point, than the temp will be controlled to the set back temperature. (LED - RED)

To Set Temp.: Press the "UP" or "Down" button to enter the "Temp Set" mode and program the "Set Point". After a few seconds, without an Up or Down button being pressed the thermostat will exit "Temp Set" mode and return to normal state, displaying the ambient temperature. When in the "Temp Set" mode, the display will show the set point. If the Mode button is pressed once while in the Temp Set mode , it will switch to the "Set Back" temperature. Then Up or Down will program the Set Back temperature.

Light Set
: To set the ambient light level for the set back, press and hold the "Mode" button. When the LED rapidly alternates between Red and Green, the light level will be recorded and the button can be released.

 

WARRANTY

Products manufactured by Easy Radiant Works are warranted to the original consumer to be free from defect in material and workmanship for thirty-six (36) months from the original date of purchase. The Easy Radiant Works warranty does not cover products modified outside of our factory, damage or failure caused by acts of God, abuse, misuse, connected to or placed on other than rated voltages, abnormal usage, faulty installation, failure to follow suggested maintenance procedures enclosed with the product, improper maintenance or any repairs other than those provided by an authorized Easy Radiant Works service center.

There are no obligations or liabilities on the part of Easy Radiant Works for consequential damages arising out of, or in connection with, the use or performance of the product or other indirect damages with respect to loss of property, revenues, profits, or costs of removal, installation, or reinstallation.

All implied warranties with respect to Easy Radiant Works products, including implied warranties for merchantability and implied warranties for fitness, are limited in duration to thirty-six (36) months from the original date of purchase, except those products or parts of products that are warranted for longer periods. On such products, or parts of products, all implied all implied warranties for merchantability and fitness are limited to the duration of the extended warranty period thereon.

During the warranty period, Easy Radiant Works will, at its sole option, repair or replace any defective parts or products returned, freight prepaid, to the Easy Radiant Works factory or such other location that Easy Radiant Works may designate. Returned products must be packaged carefully as Easy Radiant Works shall not be responsible for damage in transit. When returning parts, the owner must provide the model and serial number of the product and the nature of the difficulty being experienced. This warranty does not obligate Easy Radiant Works to bear the cost of labour in replacing any assembly, unit, or component part thereof, or the costs of removal or freight. There will be charges rendered for product repairs made after warranty period has expired. Proof of purchase, including date, must accompany request for warranty service. In any event, Easy Radiant Works maximum liability shall not in any case exceed the list price for the product claimed to be defective. .
